| Autogeek Shipping Options!
I've been getting a lot of phone calls the last couple days regarding how we ship and what services we offer. Just to reiterate, our standard shipping method is UPS but we also offer FedEX and USPS. With the various shipping options we offer, technically we deliver six days a week. Hate to bore the AGO veterans that already know this ( ), but we'll make it any which way you want it so long as you let us know! We'll even switch out packing peanuts for paper packing or vice-versa. Leave a note in the comments box at checkout or tell the operator over the phone and we'll make it happen.
If you find a competitor that offers a better deal on products or shipping, all it takes is a quick phone call, email, or PM and we'll beat it. |

Nick, I'm sad to say that I had an experience with you guys once a few mos ago that is the direct opposite of what you've explained above.
I live in Hawaii (50th state to those who dont know) and the shipping rate you offered for a 1Gal of product was ridiculous compared to other similar and LARGER size products I have shipped to me. After I purchased online I recieved the email a few day later explaining that shipping was going to be about $70 more than what I already paid. I called in asking if you could send through the post office Parcel post and you guys outright refused. I dont remember who I spoke to, but he even asked someone else if he can do it and they said no too. So I cancelled the order and bought elsewhere and got it here cheaper than what you guys wanted. Sad, but true story.
Just for reference, I get 5 gallon buckets of stuff shipped from WA State through Parcel post for $45.

Parcel post shipping is not insured and there is no way to track it, which is why we do not offer it. We ship Priority Mail to Hawaii which generally takes 4-5 business days as apposed to several weeks. Tracking is also available as soon as we ship it and the package is insured. |

I'm not trying to be an @$$ or anything- Yes I learned that, But when you say things like: Quote:

You guys refused and refunded my money. So technically you're also not beating any other competitors since I'm buying from them cheaper (overall).
Also my most recent parcel post shipment from the west coast came in 1.5 weeks!
So, In cases like mine where shipping costs are outrageous, and we dont mind waiting a little longer and not having tracking, you should allow parcel posts. I made it known to the person I spoke to that I didnt mind the wait or not having the ability to track. I have also mailed and received over 40 packages parcel post and have never had a problem.

So what's te beef? Just order from who's cheapest and best for you.

Did you even read what I wrote? There's no beef. He just made a statement that was the opposite of an experience I had ordering here. |
