It's like comparing Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection to Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant; they both provide a ridiculously glossy finish, each with their own "look." Some prefer one over the other depending on the color of the vehicle. Although DGPS is more durable than AFPP.
In terms of sheer gloss from a wipe on, walk away spray sealant, Blackfire Crystal Seal definitely raised the bar when it was introduced last January. I've been playing with DGLS for a couple months now and in most cases, it has a slight edge in shine, especially on darker colors. During a product's development, I personally test it on warm/hot paint and DGLS has an obvious advantage over any other spray sealant available. Although it's recommended to apply the sealant to a cool surface in the shade, DGLS isn't finicky when applied in direct sunlight on paint that's moderately warm/hot to the touch.

The only bottle of DGLS that's for sale is my lab sample and I'm starting the bidding at $500.
You'll either have to wait until October when the product is officially launched or you can pick up this week's VIP and take it for a spin yourself.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus is a phenomenal spray sealant and when applied correctly (very thin, 3+ coats) it provides a very glossy finish and excellent durability. Wolfgang DGLS will provide just as much paint protection while being slightly easier to use and requiring less coats to achieve the same protection. Two coats of DGLS hits the sweet spot in terms of durability and shine.
