Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal utilizes a more advanced polymer than Blackfire Crystal Seal. This means DGLS (Deep Gloss Liquid Seal) is more durable.

When compared to Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, DGLS will have a slight edge in shine. Although both provide their own unique look. An advantage goes to DGLS in terms of application because it requires no buffing. Spray on, distribute evenly, and walk away.

Nick,
So what your saying is DGLS is possibly better looking and more durable that my favorite BFCS? Is it also easier to apply? Say it ain't so.....

If so I am going to have to try and get ahold of this as well....

Hey I already have 3/4 left of my first Fuzion. Still have the refill to go as well. Can you just get the sealant?

It's like comparing Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection to Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant; they both provide a ridiculously glossy finish, each with their own "look." Some prefer one over the other depending on the color of the vehicle. Although DGPS is more durable than AFPP.

In terms of sheer gloss from a wipe on, walk away spray sealant, Blackfire Crystal Seal definitely raised the bar when it was introduced last January. I've been playing with DGLS for a couple months now and in most cases, it has a slight edge in shine, especially on darker colors. During a product's development, I personally test it on warm/hot paint and DGLS has an obvious advantage over any other spray sealant available. Although it's recommended to apply the sealant to a cool surface in the shade, DGLS isn't finicky when applied in direct sunlight on paint that's moderately warm/hot to the touch.

The only bottle of DGLS that's for sale is my lab sample and I'm starting the bidding at $500.

You'll either have to wait until October when the product is officially launched or you can pick up this week's VIP and take it for a spin yourself.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus is a phenomenal spray sealant and when applied correctly (very thin, 3+ coats) it provides a very glossy finish and excellent durability. Wolfgang DGLS will provide just as much paint protection while being slightly easier to use and requiring less coats to achieve the same protection. Two coats of DGLS hits the sweet spot in terms of durability and shine.

Very interesting.

Nick, I may be interested in your lab sample.....

I will add this at least about the comparison of UPGP / BFCS. I thought that UPGP was the easiest best WOWA sealant avalible and that it couldn't get any better. But BFCS truly is easier to use has that BF look and beads like crazy. It really took the WOWA sealant to the next level. It is so good that it replaced BFWD for me and most all of my other sealants.
If WG DGCS is truly more durable and looks better then BFCS then it is a true winner. Now I may need to get a hold of this as well to test and use...
