I don't think anything on the BMW 128 as far as the windshield has changed since it was introduced in 2008, but why is that the only year that they show a shield being made for that car...mine is a 2012 but I would want to make sure it worked.

How does using one of these affect the heat of the windshield? Has anyone tested the temp with and without the sunshade? I recall my dad's Volvo leaked black windshield sealant/putty around the border when he started using a sun shade (reflective type).
