was thinking of picking up glass and plastic systems

im just curious on peoples experiences and results with the diamondite systems. im thinking of just getting all of it for the plastic lenses on my head lights to the glass on the inside and out. just as i dug a little deeper i can not find a lot of satasfied people with it and am thinking of staying away. any advice on if i should or even just what products i should get for glass.

i was planning to get the glass kit too, but i didn't get any sort of feedback. I'll be subscribing to this and see if you get a response.

The plastic headlight restoration system works great for removing dull, hazy, yellowing from plastic headlamps and restoring the clarity and since coming to Autogeek I have removed scratches out of a few windshields using the Diamondite system and it works well but requires a rotary buffer.

The below kit will remove light or shallow scuffs and scratches using a rotary buffer.

Diamondite® Glass Repair System Kit for Machine Application

i have this kit and used it on a friends windshield after his daughter scratched it with a metal ice scraper.she left some good marks in it. with this kit i was able to remove all the marks. im going to try it on some side window marks next.

Cool Re: was thinking of picking up glass and plastic systems

I just used the glass repair/restore kit for hand aplication and it works well but it still wasn't enough to take my determined waterspots off the glass. Maybe the machine aplication would have worked better because aparently these water spots are embeded and i cannot do it by hand. Although it did make the glass sparkle and shine quite nicely. The waterspots are only where the wipers don't reach soooo I dunno. But for simple glass cleaning i would def reccomend it. More troublesome issues...you may wanna go for the machine buffing option.

Mike,

What type of results could you expect from a flex 3401?
