Shout-out to Penny

I recently placed & received my first order from AG & just wanted to say a BIG thank you to Penny who looks after international orders. (I'm in Australia)

This was my first detailing order & I spent quite a bit (to me) so wanted to make sure I got the best that I could. Due to this I must have changed contents of my order a dozen times, adding/removing products (after finding a better product than was currently part of my order for example) & as I was using a freight-forwarder, each time this was done I needed updates on new shipping box weights & sizes.

Penny was happy to help & very patient where I think a lot of companies &/or their employees may have given up & told me to either finalize my order or go elsewhere...

Also a product arrived at the freight-forwarding company damaged & Penny very quickly had a replacement sent out, no questions asked.
Great customer service!

So Penny, I thought you deserved a big public thank you for your help & patience with my order

It's service like this that will keep me (& others) coming back...

Bobby, that's one thing that soon becomes obvious here, both from reading the forum & dealing with AG staff firsthand.
Funnily enough if some local stores had replied to my enquiries, etc sooner (or in some cases at all) I probably would have bought from them before I really looked into AG.
That has turned out good for me though as I either would have spent a lot more money or got a lot less product...

The staff here is wonderful. Max the owner who I had the pleasure to meet is truly a nice guy who went out of his way to meet me and my wife. Mike Philips also took time from his schedule to talk and spend time with us also. Nick was great in showing us around and taking a few pics of us with Mike. The people her are for real. They truly care about you the customer. I will always recommend autogeek to anyone because I am confident they will have a great experience dealing with a great company. Also the people manning the phones are patient and always helpful, and knowledgeable.

This comes through consistently to me as well, even though I haven't had the pleasure of meeting anyone in person.

I once had a person ask where I got something, and when I told him he said "Oh, I don't go there, I prefer XYZ site" (and it wasn't an AG "sister" site). When I asked him why he felt that way, he said he'd heard AG was so big and impersonal, and he would get better service at this "boutique" site.

I was, like...."Huh?!?!"

Of course, it was the person who runs the other very small website that told him this....when I looked, it offered a small subset of the products AG can offer, at a higher cost with higher shipping expense. I told him of a personal best-customer-service experience I've had here, but couldn't persuade him. Oh well.

Penny and the rest of the crew are awesome! I always go to Meghan, Nick, or Penny and they've taken care of me well. Very efficient AND effective. Kind of a rare thing nowadays so I appreciate it greatly.
