I use 5.5 pads on my rotary. I dont like ccs pads. I use 5.5 flat pads on my makita and i love it! Get the flex foam backing plate with 5.5 pads and you are going to love it. Trust me.

Are you planning to use these pads on a rotary? To answer your question, my answer is no, I don't use ccs pads on a rotary nor do I use them on any DA that I own. I gave all my ccs pads away and went with flat pads and Kompresser pads for the rotary.
