The PC will give you the ability to remove swirls, scratches, holograms as well as apply sealants and waxes. It is a dual action polisher, it both rotates and orbits which leads to a swirl free finish.
The wax spreader will do just that, spread wax. Not much ability to polish paint or do much else. It is a random orbital which is more like a vibrating head that allows thin spreading of waxes.
If you want to do any sort of paint correction, a DA would be your best bet. Do a few searches, there are tons of write up where a PC is used to get great results and Mike Philips has videos demoing how to use it properly for the desired result.

Any of the dual action machines AG sells are good..but for my money the
Griots Garage 6 inch is the way to go..plenty of power and it does not bog down under a heavy load. You have to let off a little on contoured surfaces but on flat panels it is the best in my opinion.

The PCXP 7424 you linked to is refurbished. For that price listed there you can get a new one for about $10-$15 more if you search the internet a bit. I have the GG and like it. I found mine for less than $95 after an internet search.

Stay away from Random Orbital anything if you desire to do any sort of paint correction.
This is something I've posed several times and it covers many areas at a high level but give you an idea of what's available and some of the prices.
After reading and understanding some of the basics, the more hands on your are the quicker you'll build your knowledge and gain experience.
Everyone starts off as a beginner but with some reading, questions, and trial, error, and practice you'll be amazed how much you'll be able to do.

- Wax
Make detailing enjoyable and practice. Take your time and do not become overwhelmed. Just because there are a thousand product doesn't mean you have to use them all.
Pick one product from each category from the steps above. You already have some great waxes so you're that far ahead of the game..
Autogeek has a kit section that contains everything you need to get started. For starting off I recommend a dual action polisher. These come on a variety of flavors and Autogeek carries most of them so take your time and educate yourself.

As to the diff between DA polishers, as Mike P notes, the build quality is a little higher on the Porter Cable while the Griot's has a little more power. It's really your choice which way to go. I prefer build quality so I went with the PC. It has more than enough power when paired with the proper polishing pads.

would this make any sence? if i used the Random Orbital to put wax on, and use the dual action to put on sealant, poish, or glaze? what would be the best way to put on wax, sealant, poish, and glaze? using what? and also what would the order be in steps from first to last?
im using this on a 2010 370z silver paint btw...
