We're looking for some incredible photos that showcase your best work. It could earn you a $100 gift certificate to Autogeek.net for a monthly winner, or a $1000 check at year's end if your work is deemed the very best. Show us your detailing skills and we'll show you the money!

Each month, we'll pick a product line. Participants will detail a vehicle using a product from that line as the last step product (ie., wax or sealant). The Autogeek staff will pick the photo that shows the most impressive shine. The winner will get a $100 gift certificate at the end of the month and be entered to win a $1000 check from Max at the end of this year.

This month, the brand is Poorboy's. If you haven't used Poorboy's, now is a great time to try it because all Poorboy's products are on sale.

I'll give it a whirl.. lately I've been battleing injuries, and without my car for almost two weeks, I cannot receive a rental because I'm only 19. Work is slowly picking up. I also just got my digital camera for X-Mas, so this is my most recent work. But here goes..

1995 Camry [mine]
Neglected for several years

Process:
Wash with Megs Gold Class [Strong Concentrate]
Dried with MF
Clay with Meguiars clay/ lube
Threw clay in trash can

Polish with PC and SSR 2.5 via yellow pad @ spd 5-6 x2
Polish with PC and SSR2 / SSR1 50/50 @ spd 5
XMT Glaze
DP MaxWax.

Befre: [This was ALL OVER the car. ALL sheetmetal looked like this :x ]


Toned down the light to give the idea of swirls after wash / clay


Broke out the yellow pad and XMT3 for this one. Half and half shot:

Whered the swirls go ?


Lol..blue flaked cars have no reflection!
