Here's an easy trick for photoshop users... save all the images of the pieces... they're named in order (AGP-1 - AGP-40) left to right, top to bottom... pad AGP-1 - AGP-9 with a zero for sorting (AGP-01 - AGP-09), now... open the folder containing only the puzzle pieces in the adobe browser, sizing it so that it shows 8 pieces across in 5 rows... the puzzle is assempled.
