blower?

Hello, my bike has not been dirty enought for a blower as of yet. Im thinking of asking for one for Christmas. What have your experiences with one? Is it worth the $$ for one. I have used the compressor turned way down to about 25lb. to blow off some dust before detailing. Thanks! Andrew

air compressors have a habit of spitting small amounts of oil in the air. I would look to a dedicated leaf blower at some point.

To me the Black Baron (Metro) is one of the must haves of bike detailing.

thanks for the advice. I have a pretty good heated dryer system that I use to spray with my hvlp paint gun and it works well. Will look into the black baron deal! Andrew

if you add a filter that shoudnt happen...

by the way i would assume a shop vac (your brand of choice) with a concentrated nozzle would blow water off the bike.....if that what your looking for.....

i personal dont wash motorcycle i use certain product like onr or other product like this to clean and so forth again i havent detailed many but they mainly have been sportbike not cruiser i would still do the same method just you have to polish more.....

Re: blower?

I use compressed air. Have not had the oil spitting issue mentioned. I do not blow off water except where necessary (where I can't fit a small towel to dry it by hand).
