I've got a Moto Guzzi V11 Sport TT waiting for me back in the states. I'm being stationed in Phoenix in May and I will get to see it again. Unfortunately it has been sitting at my dads house and he wipes it down with pledge. I've got my work cut out for me.

You can tell Spring is around the corner. We're all getting the itch. I'm in with a Honda VTX. Are there any other female riders on this board?

My mom's husband calls sportbike riders 'organ donors'. lol Those things just go way too fast for what I need a bike for. I just ride a Virago 535. I've been on the VStar 650 and the 535 accelerates just as well and goes 80 on the freeway fine. It isn't the comfiest bike to ride on long trips, but I just use it to get back and forth to work and to bum around town on nice days when you just gotta have the wind in your hair.

I have a V-Star Classic in my garage as well as my VTX. My first bike was a V-Star Custom. Nice bike, pretty well balanced and easy to learn on. There really is not much difference between a Virago 535 and the 650 both are nice bikes and it sounds like the Virago is a perfect fit for you and your needs. I found myself looking for the phantom 6th gear too many times my V-Star and it was kinda whiney in top gear on longer trips. So that's when I sold the Custom got my VTX.

Here is a pic of another one off the internet. It looks exactly like mine except I don't have the mini fairing, my wheels are powder coated white, and my frame is powder coated silver. The TT version means it just had a 2-color scheme and it only came in black and silver. All other models were one solid color.
