Pinnacles wash is one of the finest soaps available, but I too like to save a couple $$ where possible.

Wow! That is a lot of product, but if that's what it takes, then I will be ordering soon. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question!

Lauren, like your sense of humor! Sometimes it does feel like you are taking out another car loan for these projects. Have you taken a look at the corvetteforum? What do you think? I would like to send you some pictures of my corvette torn apart. My wife almost had a heart attack!

I am twisted. Came from two lines of flakes... hee hee. wish i could say otherwise!!
I have looked at the Vette forum - but not a whole lot, because i have spent all my time here instead. plus, i will be wanting to make my car 700hp!! not good. bad enough to have read the cost for tires ($900 or so) with a lifetime of about 6-10k miles.... And i think I have charged about the same overall on ag as I have made in payments thelast three months ...lol...seriously...or close. (My payment is not what you might think. I made it do-able, so to speak.)
    TTYL!

I need two rear tires ..... 8000 miles. I know what I am getting for Xmas --- starts with 295 ends with 19 and got lots of tread in the middle.

Lauren ... get the car tuned, professionally. With Torque Management (TM) gone its a different car. Literally 400hp of fun !!!

    Scott,
How do you remove torque management? Wouldn't that void my warranty?
What exactly - forgive my ignorance - enable you to do?

If GM finds out, yes they are likely to reduce warranty but must play by the Moss-Ferguson Act.

TM -- computer controlled transmission, timing, and shift pressures to avoid undue stress on transmission and other parts at WOT. Computer is also tuned for low running emissions in all states, and using cheap gas and lower octane without detenation. You can remove it with professional tuning (LSEdit, others) and in some handheld units like Diablosports Predator. The benefit to hand unit , it saves original tune, and you can change back before any warranty work. Even the automatics chirp 1-2nd when tuned properly, oh, and EMT Supercars dont really smoke all that much, too soft, and quiet. Thats why they disappear so quickly I suppose.
