I have to agree with the stuff you guys said. But for my wash bay, I would also want streams of jets that spray water along the entire under-carriage.

My first bay would have a mechanics' pit so I could work under the car without haveing to put the car on a lift.
My second bay would have a lift.
My third bay would be my wash/detail bay.
Already have the T.V., surround sound and the fridge! I just need two more bays, and I can get started! |

My garage would be two stories with bedroom on 2nd floor have 5 bays two lifts, wash bay with drainage system, HVAC, bathroom with a shower, 60" LCD samsung TV, sound system, Paint booth. Black and white checker board tiled floor. AWD Dyno for tuning purposes and I would be set.

When I build my house, I am custom designing about everything. The garage will have a few bays.
For sure it will have a lift, tiled floor. I will also have an indoor wash area with barriers that pull out to keep it dry. It will also have a chill area. Big flatscreen that will be on tracks on the wall and can be moved all around the garage depending on where you are.
It will also have an area for my electrical engineering work. It will be pretty freakin awesome It will be a good investment IF I ever sold it hehe

A paint booth and all the goodies. It would make a great place to wax and buff.

My dream garage is a work (sometimes nitemare ) in progress. 30x40 with the back wall done in cabinets by Premier . A twin post 10,000lbs lift that isn't fully installed yet.Over the years I have been trying to purchase things with my mad money when mom isn't paying attention.Got a hanging gas furnace for heat and a portable A/C for a little help in the summer.I 've collected a bead blast cabinet from a bike shop going out of business,a hobart welder from ebay and a few metal working and fabrication tools (metal working is a hobby as is detailing) Have cable but tv's are leftovers from the house (flat screen 19" and old 27" unit). Fridge for adult beverages. Now if I could get a storage building done for the mowers and lawn and pool equip which dosen't belong in a garage. LOL
