    Snow brush recommendations?

Well, winter is back in full force which means cleaning snow off the car, including painted surfaces.

I'm at a loss trying to find a snow brush that has a minimal impact on the paint - it seems most brushes are very stiff and the bristles feel scratchy.

Has anyone found an "acceptable" snow brush?

I'm a fan of the product called Sno-Brum:

It's a foam material and is fairly safe to use on the car. It's rigid so its very easy to remove large amounts of snow while leaving a few centimeters of snow left -- so you don't touch the paint at all with the brush / brum. WalMart has a similar product which is red for about $20 I believe.

Any reason a leaf blower wouldn't work? Or are you looking for something more mobile?

    Re: Snow brush recommendations?

What about Montana Boar Brush with telescopic handle? I use a similar version (not boar hair) on my beater and works perfect, although i never looked at the scratches left behind im sure boars hair would be 100 times better. The brush works wonders on a soft snow even over 1' since my car is always out doors in this wonderful weather , and with this telescopic handle i can do the whole car not just the windows in fraction of the time of what it took me to do with the small snow brush.
