So how do YOU store your supplies.

Very new to the "detailing scene" as you might put it. I am just now getting all of the supplies and I was wondering how you professionals store your supplies when not in use. I didn't see a topic like this already so I thought I would create one. Sorry if I missed it...

Well just a month ago I bought some of those plastic towers that have drawers that come out. For the big stuff I put it in a 20 gallon bucket.

Oh wow.

You guys certainly have alot of stuff :X...

Glad to see I am not the only person using the "stuff in a bucket" method too.

Hello Fredrick2003 my best suggestion is to keep your MF microfiber towels in a covered bin to keep them clean. Everything else just depends on the space you have for storeage. Depending on where you live, I would just make sure your products don't freeze in the winter! Good luck!

Here's what I've got going:

The two taller containers hold the actual cleaning chemicals. One of them is for stuff I'll only use for a full detail bi-anually (clay stuff, polishes, sealants, pads, etc.) and the other for stuff I'll use on a weekly/monthly basis (car shampoo, wheel cleaner, interior cleaner, leather stuff, etc.). Of the two smaller containers, the top one holds tools and equipment (brushes, foam cannon, fire nozzle, bug & tar sponge, etc.) and the bottom one hold all my MF stuff. The MF is further separated into Ziploc bags, on which I've written what kind of cloth is inside, and what it's used for (so what's on it, if I haven't cleaned it recently). Oh, and the bag is where my UDM lives.
Everything hangs out in a kitchen cupboard when not in use. One of the advantages of having more cupboards than a 20-something bachelor really needs to store food in.

Yes, I do have a touch of OCD.
