Post Tons of initial product reviews.

Yesterday I did a gray Ferarri 360 spider. I got a chance to try out some products. Sorry I have no pics cause I was in a rush to leave the house and I forgot my camera.

Mini initial reviews:

SSII (Rating 9.0)- This was my second time trying this wax. So far I have only tested it on my silver car and the gray Ferrari. I was amazed at how little I had to apply to the pad, 4-5 (maybe even less) quick swipes is enough to do a whole car. It is fairly easy to remove and it is hard to see on the paint of a light car. This wax has a lot of oils in it. It smells pretty good and I think it makes the paint look a little better, im not sure though, its hard to tell, I had to really look for the difference it claims it "will make any color car look better", I feel it makes a very small if any difference. These are not my final thoughts, just my initial observations.

Amazing roll off(ARO) (Rating 9.0) This is a very powerful cleaner. It took off most of the brake dust from the Ferrari's rims with agitation. It says you need to dilute it 5-1 for clear coat I believe, but I used it full strength as I think that is what most people use it at. I looks like it will become my favorite product for cleaning wheels I just need to research how safe it is some more, even those its suppose to be 100% CC safe.

OXO car wash brush (Rating 8.0) They could have made the bristles on this brush softer. It cleans fairly well and I love that it is rubberized to minimize damage to the paint. The handle can become slippery if you get soap/water on it. Further testing will reveal how friendly it is to the paint.

Wenol polishes(Rating 8.0) These polishes work pretty good, they clean wheels up nicely and also chrome exhaust tips. I dont think of these as super harsh polishes they seem pretty soft to me. Like most metal polishes the smell is not pleasant. I have yet to compare them to other polishes.

P21s polishing soap(rating 8.5) It seems to work well as a pre-polish. It smells nice and is pretty easy to use.

Optimum Car wash ( Rating 9.0) I think this might be the most slick wash I have used so far. It smells nice, foams well and seems to clean good.

DP interior protectant7.5) I bought this to use it on my dash as I feel 303 is too shinny for the dash. I also bought it for my customers who like a very matte finish as I have heard it doesn't leave a shine. I love the banana smell. I used it on the Ferrari as the owner said that he really hates shine, I called him over and he said the dash was too shinny. He the seats were alright but the dash was too shinny. I was really disappointed as I heard that it is suppose to leave a matte look. I am thinking I might have used too much. In the end I had to take it off the dash. I will experiment further and see if it indeed leaves a shine or not.

Cobra indigo towels(Rating 8.5) I like these towels, the do a fine job at removing polish and wax. Although I feel they could be thicker.

Micro restore (rating 8.0) I use this stuff primarily because its safe and very cheap. I got a gallon of it and it will last me forever, I will pass it on to my children. It cleans pretty good and I like that the small bottle comes with the measuring device in there, even though I eye ball it and I like to use 2x more than they recommend.

Diamondite spray clay.(Rating 6.0) I did not like this product at all. It was very very hard to wipe off and get the windows clean afterwards. It did clean the windows but it really left a haze that was really hard to remove.

I will add more if I can think of any products I missed. Keep in mind some of these are just first impressions, not official reviews, I like to call them "initial reviews". If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Dude, I think you triple posted...
anyway, back to the topic...As far as DP protectant, I said it before, and will say it again, if you are looking for a low shine/matte finish try Poorboy's Natural Look, or Optimum Protectant Plus. Both have an average durability of around 3 weeks... Klasse vinyl/rubber cleaner/protectant is another nice offering, little more pricey, but will give you a better durability (4-5 weeks +).

Hummm.... I heard optimum has a bit of a bad smell, but it goes away real fast. I might try the Klasse stuff. Is there any other one that you can think of that is really really matte? This guy is real picky when it comes to his interior After I put the DP on he said it "looks like a taxi cab" lol, he's a really funny guy, i love working for him.

Thanks for the reviews! I'm glad I bought a gallon of amazing roll off. I have SSII and Micro-Restore, I love both those products. SSII is my favorite wax for now.

Dude not sure what you did but I have NEVER had DP leave a shiny surface, go back and look at the Show and Shines I have done as DP is all I have used and you will not see one single solitary shiny dash. I don't care how much I have used I always get the nice matte finish.

Use Poorboys Natural Shine versus DP protectant, its much closer to matte. Only other choice is to use Nts7 or Megs Quik Interior Cleaner which leave nothing more than clean surface.

Poorboy's Natural Look would be the best choice.... as Killer and supercharged and many others have mentioned before. As for using a double dose of the Micro Restore, it is recomended not to use too much detergent with MFs because it is likely that not all of it will rinse out of the towel giving you problems in the future.
