Question Which is best for glass - XMT 360 or steel wool?

Water spots on glass.....
It is wool # 0000, right? With what - can't recall... And is this better than XMT 360?

SSR's did not get it off.....it is on our 98 van.
PLMK, and as always, my thanks.

I would look at the new Duragloss #755. If the spots are fresher pretty much anything will remove them, if they've been baked on for months or years like areas where the wipers miss, only #0000 seel wool and AIO worked for me. But this new DG product seems great, ask Sparkie he just did a review on it. If PB's SSR's didn't remove them, XMT 360 sure as heck aint budging any of them.

Ahh, very cool, Surfer, as I have a few to get off the new Relay for hubby.
The ones here I am concerned with have been baked on for years. Got the whole thing shining, except for those windows.......
Gracias, senor!

I dont know the number if its 755 or not but the duragloss "NU Glass" on an orange pad has licked every window I have thrown at it. Followed up by Some AIO or 101 and the glass is good for weeks. BTW I use the 4" orange pads on 3. I wish you would have posted this before I sent the 4* samples.

Clay them!

I always clay my windows, then toss on a coat of either NXT or ColorX. Gives the RainX effect but just lasts longer, and much easier!

No water spots on my windows

I have used Pinnacle Swirl Remover to get water spots off glass with good success when nothing else seemed to work. Diamondite has a product that Meghan assured me would take water spots off glass but I have not tried it. I did try a Diamondite product for plastic and it worked very well at taking out some scratches.

Clay won't remove baked on spots, the minerals are etched it...main reason steel wool works is b/c it catches the minerals and pulls them away, you can feel it while rubbing...gets smooth and smoother.
