G35 Clear Coat

Can anyone help me out and shed a little light on the hardness of G35 clear coat?

My dad had someone wax his car, supposedly the clayed and waxed (not sure if they polished), anyhow he now has swirls and is pissed!

He called to ask me what he can do himself if anything....

So my questions are, how hard is the G35 clear coat, is there anything he can do by hand to remove/minimize the swirls and if so what product should he try for his particular clear coat?

Any/all help is appreciated!!

Since Infiniti is Nissan ... I suspect clearcoat is softer than some offerings. Never found hand polishing to do much, so consider machine and lighter polish/pad combo as possible.

If you cannot/willnot polish by machine, find a nice glaze to temporarily hide some flaws. Its not the same, but works well. I like Clearkote Vanilla Moose by hand.
