I’ve read the forums and my head is spinning! What products do I use first? What order? I’m so confused. I know I need to:

Wash
Claybar
Then, I’m a bit lost…

-wash
-clay
-S+W
-ssr2.5 + white pad, if defects aren't removed, switch to the orange pad
-clean the pad(s) used in the previous step, wringe them out, put on pc, spin @ speed 3 for 20 seconds to fling most of the water out.
-ssr1 + white pad
-clean/dry white pad
-deep crystal step 2 (even though it says it's a polish, it's actually a glaze) + white pad
-clean/dry white pad
-natty's blue + by hand w/ foam applicator
-spray and gloss

-16 oz. Poorboy’s Spray & Wipe Waterless Wash
(if it's maintained...after a full detail is performed)
Clay
-Pinnacle ultra Poly clay
Polish
(this may require multiple step with different products depending on your car's conditon)
-16 oz. Poorboy’s Light Abrasive Swirl Remover SR1
-16 oz. Poorboy’s Medium Super Swirl Remover SSR2.5
use these pads with above...
-6.5 inch Orange Dual Action Light Cutting Pad
-6.5 inch White Dual Action Polishing Pad

Wax/Seal
-8 oz. Poorboy’s Natty’s Blue Paste Wax
(use this pad...6.5 inch White Dual Action Polishing Pad)
-16 oz. Poorboy’s Spray & Gloss
(use this after your main wax and in after washings)


Sounds simple huh? The hardest part is evaluating your car's condition.
Remember this....
Always start out with the least aggressive chemical/pad then work to harsher.

justin, the grey pad should be used for LSP application. you don't want any cut comming from your pad when you're applying an LSP.

IMO paste carnauba's should be applied by hand. It's difficult to get them onto a PC pad. I use the little yellow foam applicators that you can get from any detailing supply shop / anywhere detailing supplies are sold.

yes, just make sure that you thoroughly wash the pad in between.

Thanks very much! What does "LSP" mean?

So the wax (Natty's Blue) goes by hand, eh?

My finish is pretty good. I have been washing by hand and using Detailing spray. Also have polished and waxed by hand. However, before I bought it there are some scratches and swirls.

LSP....Last Step Product.
Can be a wax,glaze, or sealant.....or all 3 if you use Werkstatt!

Neo.....I did mess up on the pads....I knew that gray was for cutting....I've been so caught up in my new EDGE pads that I forgot!

Red...If you see swirls then you need to polish/cut the clearcoat.

? gray is the finishing pad. It has no cut.
