Zymol Glasur over Collinite 845

My question is will it be worth it to put a product such as Glasur over top of two coats of Collinite or will it just be a waste of time. I have a pearl white car and I like the looks of glasur but I also want the protection that collinite offers. Has anyone here put a coat of a higher-end wax over top of collinite?

Re: Zymol Glasur over Collinite 845

Zymol Glasur is a Glaze Wax. I have never used it but if I were in your shoes I would perform a test. The reason being Glasur is a $100 wax so if I am going to put it over another wax layer I would want to know how much durability I am going to get. Something like this:

Roof = Collinite Only
Hood = Glasur over Collinite (let Collinite cure for 2-4 hours on its own)
Rear Deck Lid = Glasur Only
Vertical panels = Detailer's choice...

Glasur lasts pretty well by itself - haven't tried them on on the same car, but on different vehicles, Glasur lasted just as long, maybe a bit longer, than 845.
