forte 2.4

Hey guys....newbie here, so be gentle....
I would first like to say how much I have enjoyed this forum. So much information.
I am looking forward to detailing my on cars. I have ordered the PCXP just a day ago
and can't wait to get started. I have a 2003 G35 silver grey and a black 2012 Forte Koup and and also 1994 Dodge Ram that I purchased brand new. Here are my questions.
1. What do I use to strip off my old wax?
2. What pads do I use to get started, from application to finished product?
Thanks sp much for your replys.
Henry from Ga.

Re: forte 2.4

To strip old wax, dilute dawn dish soap and water in a two bucket method. After the car is dry, clay the car and then apply new wax. For pads,I would go with the meguiars pro line of red cutting pad and black finishing pad. Always get the same size pad as your backing plate. I would also try to stock up on meguiars m105 and 205 as the are a great combo to use with the pads I told you about. Good luck with your cars .
