What did Cobra MF and NXT Glass do to my dash ?

I was giving the lexus a wash today and while doing the windows with NXT glass cleaner and a cobra waffle weave MF glass towel, they seem to have "scratched" the dash pad ?? The best way I can describe the marks are "scratched" or "discolored" ?? I tried to follow-up with some interior detailer and even some lexol, nothing seems to get it out (or restore it).

I'm not sure what happened ?? or what to do .. any suggestions appreciated. This isn't cool on my $80K baby

Hopefully the pics come out so y'all can see what's going on ...

Could it be stained from the glass cleaner?

I think NXT cleaner is pretty strong. It's definately a lot stronger than DP's vision glass cleaner. I don't know if it can stain dashes though, but that's scary.

Most of the NXT stuff has stronger cleaners/solvents in it then comparable products. Even their wash is hars on carnauba, I only use it when stripping down now, I lost beading everytime I tried it. The glass cleaner might have discolored the dash, not sure, doubt the microfiber "etched" it, the whole point of micrfiber is to avoid that lol.

Try restoring your finish with Klasse cleaner/protectant. Switch to DP Krystal Vision glass cleaner, or when using NXT glass cleaner put some MF towels on your dash board.

Good luck.

Thats why I use Sprayway, Stoners, and DP ... cleans glass great, and overspray does not make a mess.

The only way I can think of a mf towel doing that is if you sat there scrubing the crap out of it (which I doubt) I would lean more towards the glass cleaner.
