Hey guys, I'm back for some more. After a few days with all the ran, and tornados, I haven't been able to work on my car. Luckily we weren't hit bad with those terrible 3 tornados that hit FL recently.

Anyways, I have a LOT to discuss and show today.

I have done a few more reviews on some samples I got, some new items I picked up locally, and some from AG.

FINAL THOUGHTS: AA ETS (Extreme Tire Shine)

This was the easiest application of tire shine I've ever used. The spray came out very nice, and uniform. Not the MOST extreme black, but fits my tastes perfectly. The directions say let sit for 2 to 3 minutes, but for maximum shine (not really) let sit for 15 minutes before wiping. I went the 15 minute route, and did the inside with some WG V&R Protectant (see below)

And a very sweet added bonus rim cleaner; I had some over-spray on the rims, and I wiped up with a MF. It actually brought the rims to a nice shinny finish. Almost as if I had applied some wax to the rims.

The final result is not the "extreme" blackness, and I really like the finished look. It's dark, as you can see from the pictures, but not too dark.

OVERALL: 6/5!!

Wal-Mart Tire pad w/Velcro 2/5

This is a very nice tire-shine pad, but the Velcro handle does not lock on to the pad. So I ended up using it by hand. The pack also included a nice MF and Terry pad. I paid $3.48 for all 3 and the Velcro handle. Although the Velcro handle attaches nicely with the Terry and MF pads.

OVERALL: 3.5/5

Meg's MF Detail "bone" & PB's S&G QD

FINAL THOUGHTS Meg's MF Detail "bone" and PB's S&G QD

Meg's MF Detail "bone" is the best "tool" if you will, I have used for using QD products. It made applying and "massaging" the QD into the paint. The slickness and gloss I got from PB's S&G QD was AMAZING!!

Not to mention its MUCH easier to use the QD because the "bone" fits perfectly in your hands. Its like a normal wash sponge, covered in a nice quality MF. I bet you could also apply any LSP's or sealants/glazes too. I haven't given it a shot, as I enjoy using my PC.

I will never use a normal MF after using this. I actually had bought two of these a while back, but forgot about them. It's nice "finding" new things...



PB's S&G is just an amazing product. The smell, cleaning ability and gloss/slickness/depth left behind from this QD is far superior than most. QS and PB's S&G are at the top for QD's. This is such a versatile product; I've used it on my rims, cleaning inside the car, the paint, bathroom etc.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you pick up Meg's MF Detail "bone" and PB's S&G if you have not already. These should be staple items in your detailing arsenal.

Meguiars Microfiber Quik Detail Pad is a soft foam applicator wrapped in microfiber. Apply dressings & protectants with Meguiars Microfiber Quik (I would recommend at least 2 of these. At $5, you can afford two)

Poorboy’s Spray & Gloss: Spray & Gloss is a quick detailer with superior gloss enhancing properties. quick spray, poorboys gloss spray, poorboys spray (I also recommend you pick up at least two of these too. With so many uses, you might go through them pretty quickly.)

WG Vinyl & Rubber Protectant

Wood Grain: WOW!! This is the best "polishing" protectant I've used to date, for Wood Grain. The WG was so clear, and shinny, it looked like brand new WG! The WG in my car is premium Cherry Wood, and it's NEVER looked so nice in 10 years! Here's some pictures..















(Keep in mind, this WG is 10 years old)

Great product!

I will do some Pro's and Con's, because unlike the others, this one ended up with a few flaws.



Pro's

VERY thick product.

Decent smell; its fruity, but not very strong. I was actually hoping it was much stronger, to use as a decent air freshner.

Good cleaning ability.

Excellent Wood Grain product.

Nice Matte finish, nothing to glossy, but you could easily tell it was there. Very nice!

Sprayer. (one of the better sprayers I've used)



Con's

Price. I would buy again, only if it was on sale, and I had a discount. Meg's Hyper Dressing is a very cheap product $39.99 a gallon!

Bottle size. I would hope for $18, a 32oz bottle would be nice.



To stretch this wonderful product a bit further, I will spray one squirt of Meg's HD and one squirt of WG Vinyl & Rubber protectant on the same pad and apply. (50/50 of each product on the same pad)

I'm also going to use this product exclusivley for Wood Grain. Meg's HD just doesn't make it shine as well.

I would recommend this product to anyone. It's a bit pricey, but it's none-the-less a top of the line interior protectant product.


Wood Grain directions: (for those who care) Spay a SMALL amount on a clean side of a MF pad, and massage the product into the wood grain. Let dry for a few minutes. Wipe with a dry, CLEAN MF (either pad or towel).

OVERALL: 4.5/5

(I was lucky this time around to get all superior products. The only thing that brought it down was PRICE. I "bold" the most important things I liked.)

I hope someone found some of this information helpful. I really enjoy doing this, and I hope you like reading what I've wrote. Maybe when AG get's new products, I could be a "beta tester"?

Nice reviews man! Have you checked to see if the BONE does any marring? It seems like a cool tool to use while QDing. Do you just spread it around with it and wipe clean with an MF or do you use the bone and it does both?

No marring at all. I have used S&G before, but when used with the "bone" I thought it did a MUCH better job.

I spray the "bone" once per panel, massage in well, flip the "bone" and move to the second panel. Spay the back of the "bone" once, and move to the next panel. Just make sure you "massaged" the QD into the paint and didn't leave anything behind. It's a generous size, and quickly moves over a panel or hood quickly.

It's really easy, and makes QD'ing easier and faster. I personally thought it brought out more shine, gloss, and slickness from PB's S&G. I was impressed before with it, but now its a battle between QS and S&G. I like them equally.

I will never QD with out the "bone" now. I recommend you pick one up. I'm even going to use the "bone" with WG DGSS (spray sealant) and Pinnacle CM. Using this "bone" just makes me want to apply QD's every day, it makes it so easy and fun.

Please keep aside, I'm not trying to push a product by any means, I'm just recommending these. The "bone" is a MUST have, you will not regret your purchase. Hey its only $5! I swear by this "tool"..

I never used Wolfgang vinyl and rubber protectant, but have used Pinnacle and really liked it. It's kinda expensive, and I mostly use it on rubber seals around doors to condition the rubber. It's not just a protectant, it's a conditioner that keeps that rubber new.
