| | | Xmt/duragloss Im doing a BMW X3 in a day or two This one is black, very light swirled.
I want to try out the Duragloss #105 on this one, but i need to use the XMT 1 first to remove some light swirls.
Can i do:
XMT 1 (skip the DG #101?) And DG 105
Top it with Liquid Soveran.

| | | I guess the 105 is a sealant? Why not do the alcohol rub down after XMT 1, then go to the 105, wait for the 12 hours, then apply souveran. I dont know much about the Duragloss stuff, so I might be way off. |

| | | I thought about this the other day with 105 and the alcohol rub down. Of course, it probably would be best to rub down with alcohol, but how necessary would it be when using 105? Reason being is 105 has some pretty good cleaners in it I believe. |

Top it with Liquid Soveran. | You'd have to wait for the DG 105 to cure 12/24 hours |

or
Apply 105, let it stay on car for 12h, remove then apply sealer etc
or
Apply 105, let it stay on for 12h, buff, wait 12h, apply sealer.

| | | Truls...
Use the XMT...and do the 105 right after..no need for a wipe down with alcohol..let 105 sit for a hour before buffing it off....12 hours later do the Liquid Sov...it is best to let the 105 cure a bit...or you may end up pushing uncured 105 around doing the Liq Sov right after...so wait 12 hours before liq sov
you will not need to use 101 if you do the XMT..XMT will clean the paint....
let the 105 sit on the paint for a good 45 minutes to a hour before buffing off...let it fully flash off....will buff off easy so no worries...
hope this helps

AL | I know you know your DG's, so have you ever used DG in the sun? If so, I assume I wouldn't need to wait a full hour? Would you foresee any problems buffing off it was "flashing" in the sun? |

| | | Presoaked with foam and High presure washer. only thing that helps when the car is that dirty. washed with ShMitt and NXT wash after.
Had some problems getting the wheels clean, tar/salt/asphalt stick so hard. The P21s Wheel Cleaner didnt take it first time, had to wash`em 3 times to get them 80% clean, should have used a more powerfull wheelcleaner, but i didnt have that in hand before washing.
Swirls: YES, hope the XMT 1 takes it(or XMT 3), trying to avoid the rotary and MG 84 or MG 85 on this one.
