nOOb alert

Its going to winter before you know it and I want to keep my 2006 charger looking great. Alas, I'm a bit overwhelmed by all this detailing stuff! Here is the plan:

wash with Meg. Gold Shampoo and wash
clay bar Zaino bar and Z-8
wash again

treat for swirls and webs- XMT 1 enter the PC 7424
glaze XMT finishing glaze
PB Natty's Blue
sealant PB EX-P

heard of using water and alcohol to clean...explain this and when should I do it...

help and guidance welcomed...please include any hints

Winter ...... hey can we see Fall first ??? Seriously though, you got a nice plan but remember (as said) sealants DONT like oils/fillers in waxes, so use them first and then top with wax as wanted. Just remember we demand pics...

After XMT 1 I would either rewash, or wipe down with 50/50 water/alcohol mix to remove any of those abrasives/fillers. That will make sure EX-P will bond properly. Skip Finishing glaze and go straight to EX-P. After curing time(about 12 hours) apply a coat of Natty's blue.

Skip XMT Finishing Glaze because it won't bond properly with PB EX-P?

XMT finishing glaze has carnauba in it and therefore the sealant won't bond well to it. He can always use the XMT glaze after his EX-P has cured and before his Natty's.
