Questions about PC kit...

Menzerna Porter Cable Ceramic 5.5 Inch Polishing Pad Kit
I have been looking at this kit because it contains all the polishes, polisher, and little things like pad cleaner that i need. I dont really want all the extra things such as waxes and tons of towels like the other kits have because i already have plenty of those. My question is will the the polishes that are made for ceramic clear be ok for normal CC? This kit has exactly what im looking for and cuts cost by getting rid of all the extra which is important considering my budget.

Great. This will be my first time buying a polisher. Is there anything else you recommend?

You may want to get the 4" pads for heavy correction.

Re: Questions about PC kit...

I was hoping that with the ceramic polishes and 5.5 pads i would be ok... Is there anything that i wouldn't be able to tackle with whats in this kit. I mainly do my own vehicles but have a small detailing business on the side. I am on a budget so do you really think they would make that much of a difference?

The 5.5 pads will work ok, just more time to correct. The 4" pads will cut faster and will allow you to get into tight areas. You can always get the 4" later.

If you have a detailing business I would opt for some 4" pads bc you never know what your customer may bring. Just get a couple Orange, Green and white

Re: Questions about PC kit...

In addition to the areas mentioned above, the 4" pads will also help with headlight restorations where a 5.5 or 6" pad is just to much pad for the job.
