Wax over a Paint Sealent method

Just curious how many people use this method and I have a couple questions

The paint sealent itself is susspose to have a great shine wet gloss look wouldnt it just be overkill to add a carnauba wax over it??? Does the carnauba really inhance the look that much after the sealent or is it just more durability is what people are looking for???

Just wanna know why people do this basically thanks in advance

IME,Ive always topped sealants with carnauba.Sure it pretty shiny but it lacks depth for me.usually do this on dark colors.

Re: Wax over a Paint Sealent method

Looks are very subjective, having said that I feel a Carnauba wax gives more depth than a polymer sealant but lack durability. So I apply a polymer for durability and a Carnauba wax for *looks*

Re: Wax over a Paint Sealent method

we use a resin polish over the sealant helps bring a deeper shine and seems too last a little longer...

i would wait any more than about half an hour between coats.....

Re: Wax over a Paint Sealent method

Tech Note: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 is a water-based, oxygen activated paint sealant. After application, the sealant needs to cure for 12 hours in dry conditions to fully bond to the paint. Exposure to moisture during this time will drown the polymers. For the best results, allow 12 hours of curing time.

Guess i answered my own question
