Wax before sealant??

I was thinking today while at work if its possible to wax then apply sealant. The only reason i say this is because i have to wax and detail my cars outside and mother nature doesnt cooperate very often.(i wish i could be a weather man, Must be nice to still get paid even though ur wrong). So for me to wait a day then wash doesnt happen that often. So is it possible to wax then apply the sealant after or would that be a waste of time?

Re: Wax before sealant??

To be able to get that combo to work properly, you'd need to lay the sealant down first, allow it to cure at least 12hrs, and then apply the wax
Wax will adhere better over sealant, than sealant over wax...

Re: Wax before sealant??

think sealants bond .... waxes cover or coat. As such a sealant needs to be added first and cured before being covered.
