Re: best drying technique

I always use an electric blower, never had to use any type of drying towel, especially when a car is already prepped then water just blows right off. I mainly use the blower b/c on my truck and some other cars, the water likes to collect and continue to drip in certain nooks and crannies of which a few times over with the blower force out (especially window seals on the outside).

After blowing, I just go over like normal with a qd and microfiber. Less touching = less marring

Re: best drying technique

I've used an electric leaf blower for years. My son bumped me when he was little and I left a nice scuff in my motorcycle fender from the nozzle, so one thing I did was take some foam weather stripping with the sticky back and put it around the end of the nozzle. It protects the paint just in case I do get a little to close again.

Re: best drying technique

a 150 mph leaf blower is more than adequate and not to mention it's light to where you can hold a mf towel in the other hand and wipe any runs/drips if necessary. for $26.76, you can' go wrong with this (read the great reviews)... Weed Eater WEB150 Electric Blower - Wal-Mart

Re: best drying technique

With the blower just be aware of strange looks you'll get , all these years and neighbors still look funny, but the best are the landscapers. They give me the funniest looks and just stare when they see me using the blower to dry the vehicles lol.
