Detail Fest & Car Show Information Page

Here is a complete list of everything you need to know about Detail Fest 2008! If you have any other question, please ask me!

What is Detail Fest?

Part car show, part how-to clinic; Detail Fest is a detailer's paradise in South Florida.
This year is our biggest event yet. Many of our most popular manufacturers will be on hand to unveil brand new products! These products will not be released to the public before Detail Fest. You can be among the first people to see the newest products from your favorite manufacturers, debuting only at Detail Fest!

In addition to new products, you’ll see detailing demonstrations and you’ll have the opportunity to show off your own detailing skills on site. Wash stations and plenty of power outlets will be available for your buffer.

Your registration for Detail Fest enters you in a raffle to win a Covercraft car cover for your vehicle and you'll receive a goody bag valued at $150, including an official Autogeek Detail Fest t-shirt. Registration will be $15, which gives you a space in our Detailer’s Row to detail or just show off your vehicle.
(If you do not wish to participate with bringing your car inside the show, admission is free)

Who will be at Detail Fest?

Detail Fest is open to anyone wanting to walk around and check out the products and demos. It is also open to those who would like to bring their car inside Detailers Row to either try products out or to just display their vehicle.
We will also have manufacturers at Detail Fest displaying and doing demos with their products.

List of vendors that will be at Detail Fest:
Pinnacle Natural Brilliance
Wolfgang German Car Care
DP Car Care Products
Meguiars Car Care
The Edge Products
Mothers Car Care Products
System One Advanced Polishing System
Optimum Polymer Technologies Inc
Lake Country Smart Pads
Covercraft Vehicle Covers
Four Star Products
Grit Guard Washing Systems
Poorboy’s World Car Care
P21s
Lexol
RaggTopp

Is there a fee for Detail Fest?

There is only a fee if you want to display your vehicle. ($15 which includes the t-shirt, goody bag, and raffle ticket)

When is Detail Fest?
March 29th it’s the last Saturday in March same weekend as Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in West Palm Beach. Starts at 9am.

Where is Detail Fest held?
Autogeek's 3rd Annual Detail Fest will be held at our new facility located at 7744 Jack James Dr. in Stuart, Florida. You'll get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Autogeek.net and you'll meet Max and the rest of the Autogeek staff. Plus, attendees will be able to place orders and have them packed and ready to go before the end of the day.

Re: Detail Fest & Car Show Information Page

Okay, so it's not everything that I need to know.
What time does it begin/end? Do I have to pre-register if I'm not showing a car? I'm really looking forward to this event! Thanks in advance for your answers.

Re: Detail Fest & Car Show Information Page

We have added a few vendors and some exciting new things to Detail Fest.... make sure you get your spot, we only have a handful left to enter their cars into the event.

Just added to the Detail Fest line-up:
For the motorcycle enthusiasts, we will have choppers designed by Austin Weiss of Streamline Designs. Austin has won the “Editor’s Choice” award from American Iron Magazine, first place in the Semi-Finals at Florida’s Next Top Builder for the Hardrock Tour, and he’s been invited to participate in the world finals for the AMD Pro Show at Mandalay Bay. Austin has designed and built bikes for Lil’ Jon, Carlos Mencia, Black Eye Peas, Anheuser Busch and Kreiger Watch Company. See some examples of his amazing work at Detail Fest.

Food:
When you’re ready to refuel at lunchtime, Hooters will be here selling their famous chicken wings. What would a Hooters lunch be without Hooters girls? Three official South Florida Hooters girls will be on hand for the afternoon.

What would a car show be without beautiful women? Two special guests will be here to spice things up. You might have seen on the covers of national fitness magazines. Ashley and Holly will be available for photos with you and your vehicle.

See you there....

Hey Meghan: got a spare rotary and some pads? I've registered and might clean up my Hertz rent-a-racer just for grins (I'm even checking on getting a Shelby GT-H from them)

I just checked with Hertz and they have a GTH available. Used my frequent points and I might have to pay a smidgen extra for mileage, but I got one reserved: Black with Gold stripes...Kool!

Now, if Meghan comes thru with a rotary, pads, and products, I'm all set!

Re: Detail Fest & Car Show Information Page

How are the demos done? Are they ad hoc or is there some timed like every hour or something?
