I have one and use it all the time. Honestly its not a revolutionary product as you should always deep clean your pads after every few cars using something like dawn power dissolver but I do think the GG PW is excellent for quick pad cleaning during polishing. I often find I will use the same 1 or 2 pads for an entire car because I just keep re-washing them in the GG after 2 or 3 panels of polishing. I dont buy as many pads as I used too simply because I have this unit.
It seems pricey at first but if your saving time on details and $$ on pads eventually it will pay for itself. Also if you have pads which are difficult to center than this is a must, that way you do not have to keep pulling off and re-applying your pads to the backing plate.

dsms - Thanks for the input. Cleaning the pads has always been a high priority for me too. Product did seem pricey to me too, but the pads are not cheap either.
I have always watched the demos at each DF and amazed at what this can do. I sure would like one also , but always find something else new at Autogeek to spend the money on. Maybe Meghan will send me a tester (smiles).
I have one and use it a lot, well worth the shock of the price. And you get a grit guard you can take out and use in your wash bucket.
Would you guys recommend using it to do the innitial pad cleaning (before 1st use) or after its been washed by hand and used 1 time?
For initial pad cleaning, foam pads you should be fine, but wool is another story due to the amount of loose fibers that come out initially. In this case I would recommend washing the wool by hand first, then in the GG as needed when they become caked with product.
Thanks trlblazer3!
