agreed. For enthusiasts' use, if you get a bunch of quality MF's from Pakshak, they'll last you a really long time. The costco ones, I've found that the nap "shrinks" after a few washes. They're now designated to wheel, interior and kitchen use at my home.

the costco Micro fibers are cheap. for me they are a one use only on a car, then they are a grease rag, or used for shipping padding.

36 for $14 is a great deal.

i use them as well. works best when folded into eighths. gives a nice cushion. great for qd paint, interiors and old ones for wheels. still use higher grade mfs for removing waxes and sealants.

If the costco mf's are great for qding why not for waxes and sealants?

yello costco for wheels, shop towel, engine, and general household cleaning only. i think they have improved them since last summer but still generally suk.

on the other hand, their new 4-pack and chenille washmitt combo is really nice. the one they offered last year again suk'd so maybe they are listening to customers

for some strange ocd reason i just reach for the thicker ones when removing wax/sealants. no real explanation.
