Problem with my NEW Boar's Hair Wheel Brush

I used my NEW Boar's Hair Wheel Brush to wash my car yesterday and I really liked it. However, when it tried all the hairs were all bunched up and i tried to wet it again and it's still bunched up and isn't as affective for cleaning as before.

HELP!

Re: Problem with my NEW Boar's Hair Wheel Brush

Hmmm, I use a boar's hair brush for shaving and when it shipped it had a sizing on the hairs. Took multiple warm water rinses to get rid of it all.

Re: Problem with my NEW Boar's Hair Wheel Brush

As a boar's hair brush dries, the hairs will get stiff. Try wetting it again, but give it a real good soaking and I'll bet it'll soften up a bit so you can straighten it out.

Re: Problem with my NEW Boar's Hair Wheel Brush

I've not had trouble with my Autogeek Boar Hair Brush, still as new even though it has been used many times. After use I rinse it thoroughly with the hose then let to air dry, bristles dry up nice fluffy maybe you still have soap residue on the bristles?
