Flex Edge Adapter - Initial Impressions

There is no reason to put any Loctite whatsoever. In the design we made the threads Left Handed due to the rotation of the machine. This insures that not only can the pad not unscrew during operation, but just the opposite, it will continue to self tighten. Thanks for pointing that out about the Loctite not being needed. I read your coments the day before I was going to use the stuff on the threads and use the Flex adapter for the first time. As you stated, the left hand thread keeps it from coming loose and after using it for the first time on my Flex I think your adapter is a complete success. Edge and Flex is truly a marriage made in heaven. Well worth the wait.

it's you. I'm glad I was able to get one when I did. Been keeping my eyes open since they said it would be coming soon, so when I recieved a PM from Edge saying they had a some available I gave them a call. They told me they only had about five available and they were already gone when he told me, believe it or not, he just found one more he could sell me. When I got the PM I figured they had a few hundred or so to sell, not five. Guess a lucky day for me. They seem like real nice people there. At least I got to keep the original backplate for the times I want to use pads other then the Edge ones.

I don't see how it would solve that issue. The actual backing plate itself is not eliminated...
