Help: looking for side grip (makita b06040)??

Anyone knows where I can get a side grip for this makita? They said they don't make it for b06040 but then why do they have 2 attachment points for a side grip?

Have you tried contacting Makita directly? they may have an 800# on their website.

If Makita doesn't offer one for their own product you may be able to try hit and miss to see if one for another make might just be the same thread size thread.
