Grout Sponge???

Hi ag peeps.Ive been reading a lot about this sponge lately.Some say that it works best with ONR.Is it really safe to use on your car?What is the difference between GS and regular car wash foam?TIA

FWIW - there's a ton of debate on autopia on the grout sponge. My take on it is - it's the best damn thing you can use to wash your car with. Go to home depot and get a 2 dollar grout sponge, 6 for $10 - make sure they're the "made in Greece" ones. Enjoy!

Have you tried the ones at lowes?I think the brand is proline around 1.90/pc.

Lowes has one also thats made by pro line..its very good...1.87...they rinse super clean..and hold a ton of wash solution....and gentle on the paint...

It may be the foam composition..the grout one feels very soft and the car ones I have seen feel ruff and stiff....just guessing...but a observation...but there is a difference you can feel....

The Lowe's GS has larger pores and hold more solution it also feels softer than the Home Depot GS.
