Problem with the EZ-Detail Brush.

I purchased the EZ-Brush last year and have loved using it. It's invaluble for my detailing especially on those deep wheels that my hands cant reach.

BUT, the very tip of the brush, it had plastic on it as to not scratch the wheels in case the tip hits the wheels. The plastic has peeled off and now exposes the metal core. I have hit a part of my wheels and it has scratched them. I have used the Brush on maybe 40-50 wheels. Great brush, just wished it had not have worn down this fast.

Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Problem with the EZ-Detail Brush.

No problems out of the brush here but I haven't had it that long. Can you wrap the tip in some black electrical tape to make it "safe" again?

Black electrical tape and bailing wire can fix ANYTHING...

No, but heard of others having the same problem. I've used mine for about 20 washes so far. I remember years ago they had a can of liquid rubber that you could dip a metal piece in it and have it coated with rubber.

Re: Problem with the EZ-Detail Brush.

use the rubber dip like above..its still sold also..or use heat shrink tubing and do a few layers....

I think sears sell the tool dip product for dipping handles of pliers in to coat them..

But the heat shrink will work also

Re: Problem with the EZ-Detail Brush.

I thought you had to get a new one brush if the tip came off. Like it said on the package.
