What do you use to....

What do you use to reach the windshield and center of the trunk on large vehicles?

I would imagine a ladder would be bad with the chance it could kick out on you and scratch the paint you just finished. Maybe a bucket or milk crate. Just trying to see if there was any way to avoid the acrobatics I use to clean the windshield, you know stand in between the open door and wedge yourself in technique.

At 6'-2" I still have a tough time reaching the center of the window of my wife's truck and mine will be the same thing

I use the wedge yourself in between the open door trick (note: make sure if there are running boards make sure they are free of soap)

I use a step stool (little one footer) in my garage to polish, wax, etc.

Step stool for me to reach roofs/windows, and my boars hair brush with a nice long extension pole and also a OXO window brush/squeegee for nice clean windows. Being only 5'6", I need anything I can to make my reach longer lol

I have one of these stools as well and love it. But did not like it at all after I stepped up onto it when it was wet and sent myself crashing to the ground. I went to the skate shop and got some of the grip tape for skate boards and not its nice and safe, even for me.
