another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....
Well.... after 2 years in business I have killed my second electric pressure washer, both were Greenworks from Lowes. The first one was replaced under warranty, but after the second failure it's time for a change.
I've been looking at gas pressure washers, but i'm still reluctant due to the noise and emissions (I sometimes wash cars in my shop when it's too hot out).
I have been researching the Sun Joe SPX3000 or the AR Blue Clean AR390SS. does anyone have any experience with either of these brands, how are their longevity?

I have the Sun Joe SPX3000 and a gas pressure washer when I need some serious pressure. That Sun Joe as been decent and works well with my foam cannon, but keep in mind it's just another cheap consumer pressure washer not meant for commercial work and should be considered disposable like the Greenworks ones. These types of cheap pressure washer just don't last if used a lot.

You need a Honda. Those are so tough you couldn't break it if you tried.

If you're using it in a professional grade environment, any reason not to buy one that has commercial/professional components ?
Personally I would stick with electric but this is purely subjective like wax I suppose.

If you're going to stay with Electric, have you looked Kranzle?

At this point it comes down to price. Im recovering from a really slow November/December. So i am trying to keep costs low.

I hear ya Matt....it's the balance between buying a new machine every year vs. XYZ on a pro/comm. machine.
There is no right or wrong decision. It really depends on your situation. I misread your 1st sentence which said ~in business~. In a pro application, one cannot afford that downtime.
I would not use Kranzle for a electric Matt. It's german, and just like my cars, parts are expensive outside of warranty. Stick with standard fare like general pumps (which parts are relatively inexpensive), etc, etc.

Re: another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....
Kranzle is a high quality unit, but as chefwong noted, pricey.
Honda makes ENGINES...good ones at that. If going gas, a Honda POWERED unit is top shelf...IF it has a quality pump.
CAT pumps are quality pumps and parts/service is readily available. Can be found on both gas and electric units. Premium price, but not crazy.
Gas is a bit more hassle than electric.

I've got the AR390SS and it's a good pressure washer, but I bought the 3 year warranty with it because I expect it to break down. Buy two so you have a backup. Not knocking this brand at all, just home grade pressure washers in general are not made to withstand commercial use.

Re: another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....
My goal this year was to save up and invest in an electric pressure washer in the $600-$900 range. having this washer fail again i have to grab something that will get me through the year so i can keep on track financially. So fo now it has to be a cheaper "disposable" washer.
