The one linked is not wet/dry, I would look for something wet/dry for detailing needs. There are two available on the river store site. There is a forum member with a wet/dry wallmount version, he invited me over to check it out. When I get time I will be checking it out since I am interested in one as well.
The invite is still on the table when you get the opportunity to stop by.

I have the Hoover GUV. Had it 12 years no problems except bottom of tank started to rust as it's not a wet vac. Fixed this myself. ut a 5 gallon bucket down a slid it inside and clear RTV around the top edge. Works like a dream.

Nice discussion going about wall mount units. Not to blow it up and sound like I am pushing mine but it is a great opportunity to explain an often overlooked spec on the unit we offer at Autogeek.
This unit has our two-stage motor (two fans moving air). This unit runs quieter, last longer, and has higher suction force measured in inches of lift (80"). Don't let the low peak HP rating deter you our two-stage turns slower so you don't get those high ratings like our single stage. Single stage produce high cfm or volume of air movement, important for tasks like picking up large amounts of light debris such as sawdust in a workshop. Two-Stage the cfm goes down and the lift goes up (can't have it both ways) this is great for jobs were a strong "pull" is required like extracting water from carpet, pulling sand out of carpet, you get the idea. This unit was designed for our pro users, thanks for the opportunity to share with you.
