    My first polsiher is the 3401, if i had to replace it, it will be the 3401. It has never failed me and i didnt personally feel like it had any learning curve. It just worked great and fast. Only other experience i had was pneumatic tools (rotary and da)... I dont have access to a compressor anymore... So.. 3401!

    +1 for 3401 as your only polisher.
    However, I like the Rupes more since I have a GG, I found that the Rupes suits me better
