Microfiber - wet or dry for using QD

When using a QD, your thoughts on using Microfiber, wet or dry?

Completely wet the MF, wring out as much water as possible, then use the QD to clean the car?

Use a CA duster first, then a dry microfiber with QD?

Use two microfibers. A dry with a QD followed with a dry MF to buff?

One dry MF, fold in half then half again. Use with QD till one quarter gets dirty, flip to another clean side. Continue until all sides dirty, then get another cloth?

Cheers, Roger

I like slightly damp MF. Spray QD one spritz per panel, or spray it directly on MF towel. If streaking occurs, use another dry MF towel to wipe it off. Streaking will depend on QD you are using, and temperature outside.

Using a damp microfiber is like priming a foam /wool pad, it avoids product being absorbed by the applicator wasting product. It also makes a micro fibre less prone to producing a static charge that attracts dust
