Duragloss 201 review (w/pics)

I used Duragloss 201 "THE WET LOOK" ~ Thanks for the sample Sparkie

The lable ~ is straight, colorful, has nice size letters for easy reading. It clearly states it restores the lustre to vinyl, leather and many other surfaces, leaving a fresh clean scent. It has the manufactures phone # and web site on the back.

It was very simple to apply and definately leaves "THE WET LOOK" as stated.

The smell: ~ the lable state that it leaves a long lasting fresh clean scent. I would disagree on both points! First and foremost the scent is not clean. IMO it smells like cheap perfume. My husband thinks it smells like moth balls. Secondly, which is the good news, the smell is not long lasting. The smell is intense at first, but dissipates within a few hours.

Cleaning ability ~ It easily removed dirt from the plastic floor door sill trim. It removed a few diet coke spills with little effort. There was no mention of cleaning ability on the lable.

Appearance ~ It definately leaves a wet look and here are some pics.

I personally prefer the natural new look, but there is no doubt you have the "wet look" after using this one.

Tonya,
Thanks for the review. The pictures show what a nice clean finish you got from the product.

I'm curious about one thing. You wrote "My husband thinks it smells like moth balls." So, apparently he knows what moth balls smell like. My question is: how did he get it's little legs apart?

I have been laughing for the last 5 minutes, Surfer and his dream thread, Wytstang and his stupid song that will not get out of my head. hehehe hahaha
Now moth balls! You guys are killing me this morning! Reddrwarf, I don't think I will ask him. I don't think I want to know.
Guys thanks for noticing the effort on the review. I saw the suggestion from Dwayne and gave it my best shot.

Thanks Tonya. Very nice review. Not sure but I think it was #201 that some people were using on exterior trim also. You've got that interior looking good.
