Help with buffing custom paint

Hello All,

I am doing a small cuatom paint job. I have wet sanded it to 1200 grit. I just recieved my Menzerna kit from AG. The intensive polish states it gets out 2000 grit scratches.I am really looking forward to trying out my new kit. Any thoughts on what to use between the 1200 grit and the intensive polish.

Thanks
Mike

Use 2000 grit ... or higher grit.

It's going to be very hard to sand out 1200 grit sanding marks with a polish.

What machine are you using?

1000 grit sanding marks and used the IP and black EDGE 2K Wool

before

after 50/50 shot

as you can see that combo took care of 1000 grit. it should work on your 1200 grit. just follow up with a finishing polish and finishing pad
