Would you consider gold/tan a dark paint?

I was curious what the experts here think about gold colored paint. Is it a dark paint or light paint? I am curious because I used Nattys Blue on my old dark blue Mustang and it worked beautifully.

Now I have a mineral grey (below) Cobra and my wife's car is a gold colored minivan (below). Would you suggest Natty's Blue or Natty's regular for those colors?

Try Max Wax or SS11 for the grey.

Either one would work fine-- Natty's regular or Natty's Blue. Try them both and see .

I just might do that! My guess is that both would do better with the regular Natty's but the grey is "borderline".

Thanks all!

Some people like Natty's Blue on all colors because it give a little extra gloss but I have no experience with using it on lighter colors.

It looks like a lighter color to me. I have used Natty's Blue and white paint before and it looks good.

For darker/solid paints - Natty's blue.
For metallics, and if you are looking for a flake pop - DP Max Wax, or Pinnacle SSII.
