| | | Best product for dust free? I tend to ride lots of backroads on my bike. I just detailed it with AIO, EP-X, and Nattys Blue. What woudl be the best item, process, or QD that woudl help repel dust the best? |

| | | none .... some like Quikshine, Z6, and Finish Kare 425 might reduce it, but it does not alleviate it. Never found all that much difference personally. The butt on my last two vettes were dust magnets no matter the wax, sealant, or qd. |

| | I don't know of anything, cars paint becomes staticaly charged. Even on my white suv dust/dirt wipes off easily. I had some dirt on the truck for a couple days, and then it just started pouring. Nothing stuck to it, truck looks as if I just waxed it all nice and clean. It was funny driving through the rain the other day, watching the rain drops hit at speed, little bastards just couldn't hold on
I also found myself looking at other cars at light for beading, most had nothing (just blobs of water). Just one black Mustang that looked like it had been waxed. Guess I'm a detail addict now.My truck has pretty much what you listed as well, AIO/EX-P/Natty's Blue etc. |

Where we live in the city and when it rains? i'd say about 1 out of 20 cars has some sort of a water bead.....not to many auto geeks around here. |

| | | Yes, after doing my car, it rained a few days later and all the dust just washed away and the car looked about 95% clean and sweet, so I knwo those products really are doign their job! Amazing really. Now about a week later with various rains and I live in the country so lots of dirt and grimey roads...I woudl only have to wash the rearend, but you knwo I gotta try my PB wash! The AIO on my wheels has really worked wonders, thanks for the tip Killrwheels.
But, I don't like my bike in the rain, I don't like a drink after eating bugs, I prefer to cherish their taste for awhile...
Wondering if I didn't wax the bike and just used the sealers? Maybe be a little slipperier? | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
