My Edge 2000 pads...

Ok.....I believe these are the best thing to happen to the PC!
I used these pads today on a 2005 GMC Denalli Pickup....black. I used the yellow light polishing pad with #80. Pinnacles XMT Pad lube was applied to the pad first. Then I went to town. The pads are higher (thicker) and this felt wierd but awesome as I kept working. The best part is when I finished half the truck, I clicked and flipped the pad over and WHAM!....a clean pad! Two in one....awesome. I did not have to worry about centering either. There is no way that the center even came close to hitting the paint.

When I was finished, I used XMT Pad Cleaner. I sprayed both sides of the pads well. I then worked the cleaner in with my hands. I let sit for about 5 minutes. I ran warm water through the pad and worked it with my fingers. This cleaner gets 2 thumbs up as well! Pad looked like new!

I also used the white fine finishing pad with #21 Sealant then flipped over and use NXT when it was time. Of course I removed #21 off the vehicle first. This was a HUGE time saver!

Conclusion (hope you all are not being bored)

The EDGE 2000 system is an awesome system. No one would go wrong using them.

XMT pad lube and cleaner really works. I recommend it to anyone. There was never any caking on the pad while using this lube.

Thanks and here are some pics of the pads shipping and attachment system.

No prob.
I don't mind telling others about products in "real world" applications.
I'm wondering if want to try the rest of the XMT products....Wonder if I could get samples.

I have the Edge pads also, other pads don't even compare. I love the system. Makes quicker and easier work on suv's/trucks. Plus the pad quality is top notch, Aaron even made me a custom set of 4" pads for free to fit the adapter to try out (orange cutting and blue pad). More money, but the kit is well worth it

Justin, you can have all the samples you want, all you have to do is detail my beast one Saturday! You do like Florida weather don't you...
On a serious note you wont be unhappy with XMT but if you buy it and are not satisfied I will gladly take it back!
XMT is a great line, it is starting to fly off of our shelves.

I'll be trying more of XMT products.
I forgot that you can custom order pad combos!
Anyone else with some EDGE 2000 remarks?

What is your BEAST Meghan?
