Simple green as a bug and tar remover??

Is it safe to use and at what dulution ratio. Would I need to re-apply my LSP after using it during a normal wash???

Simple Green will strip anything on your paint to be honest with you. I dillute somewhere around 8:1 myself, but only use it on the wheels wells and the wheels and don't let it sit for more than 2 minutes.

For bugs and tar I use Poorboys Bug Squash: great stuff!

So I would be better of with a dedicated bug and tar right? Are there any over the counters that would work well??? I just made my order to autogeek and it will be about a month before I order again.

with P1et. After using Poorboys Bug Squash one time I said this is a must for the summer. My last order had my second bottle of PBBS (big one this time). The recommended dilution is 3:1 (H2O:BS)for normal use.

Yeap, I've got the big one as well! Usually, you can dilute it 50:50 and you should have a nice sized batch.

Don't use SG on paint! Only very heavily diluted for wheel wells and engines. I don't even use it on my wheels/tires, just Amazing roll off for that. Great stuff!

I use Simple Green on tires and wheel wells with good results. Not great, just good.
