About to Order Porter Cable HD

I am about to order the porter cable hd but just to be shore with few things.

These are things I am ordering, besides pads is this everything I need on the machine side of things.

That's find what you have there. But they do have kits thats has everything you need. Check them out. For a little more and you get a lot more. IMHO

Well I live in Australia and shipping can cost alot so it's cheaper for me to buy chemicals in Australia but is the machine, backing plate and foam brush everything I need or am I missing something out which I will need with porter cable.

I'm taking it that you have the pads also? Looks good to me. You might want to wait and see any other members have anything to add. The more the merrier. Hopefully they will chime in and help you out. Also your electricity is different then what we have. You will need some kind of a adapter for that.

Yeah will probly just stick to that. Yeah over here in Australia I need a transformer to get it to work which I will pick up next week.

The transformer is what makes it not worth it for many people here in Australia cos the price to buy the pc, shipping and transformer you could easily pickup a high quality random orbital.

I have just ordered the same HD kit plus a bunch of other gear and the postage is high.
I also have to get a transformer for the PC, do you have any details for what you are getting? Here is a link for what I am looking at: Step-Down/Step-Up Transformers
Not sure to go for the 1000 (8.7A) or 500VA (4.3A). The PC is rated at 3.7A at 110V, but does any one know what this would translate to at 240V.
