How To Wash Ur Car: By Scott :)

OK..WELL I GOT A LITTLE BORED TODAY AFTER CLASS AND STOPED BY THE LOCAL LOWES AND PICKED UP THE BUDGET FOAM GUN LOL.....IT WAS 10 BUX...I JUST HAD TO TRY IT....AND ID HATE TO SAY IT..BUT THIS WORKS PRETTY DARN GOOD...YOU CAN SWITCH BACK FROM FOAM AND WATER IN THE TURN OF A NOB

SO I WAS GONNA WASH MY CAR AFTER WE HAD A TORNADO COME THROUGH FLOWER MOUND LOL...YA JUST KNOCKED SOME TREES DOWN..BUT FEW BLOCKS OVER PEOPLE LOSS THEIR BARNS AND ROOFS...ANYWAYS

SO I WASHED MY CAR AND DECIDED TO DO A LITTLE HOW TO.THIS IS FOR YOU PEOPLE THAT WANNA DO REALLY QUICK WASHES JUST TO GET THE OUTSIDE LOOKING GOOD...IT REALLY WORKS FOR ME..NO THIS ISNT A FULL WASH I WOULD DO OTHE THINGS (DOOR JAMS EXT) BUT THIS IS JUST A QUCIK WASH.... I HOPE YOU LIKE IT

FIRST STEP
I USE MY SPRAY TANK YO SPRAY DELUTED DEGREASER ON THE WHEELS LOWER PARTS OF THE CAR AND UNDER THE CAR..THIS THING IS MUCH BETTER THAN USING A SPRAY BOTTLE AND CAN GET INTO WHEEL WELLS AND UNDER CAR VERY EASY

SECOND STEP
I THEN USED THE NEW "FOAM GUN" LOL ...I SPRAYED THE ENTIRE CAR DOWN..UNDER THE CAR..WHEELS..EVERYTHING..USED MEGS SHAMPOO PLUS..I REALLY LIKE THIS STUFF AND GOOD PRICE...

THIRD STEP
I THEN RINSED THE WHOLE CAR OFF...TOP FIRST THEN BOTTOM...I SPRAYED UNDER THE CAR AND WHEEL WELLS

FOURTH STEP
I THEN HAND WASHED THE REST OF THE CAR WITH THE SHMITT WHITE MITT (THINGS AWESOME CANT SAY IT ENOUGH)
I USED THE TWO BUCKET METHOD AND USED THE MEGS. SHAMPOO PLUS AGAIN
DID THE CAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM (I WAS ABLE TO DO THE WHOLE CAR BECAUSE THE WAS AN OVERCAST)

FIFTH STEP
I THEN RINSED THE ENTIRE CAR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM

SIXTH STEP
I THEN FLOODED THE CAR WITH WATER TO SHEET OFF MOST OF THE WATER

SEVENTH STEP
I USED THE "AWESOME" COBRA GUZZLER TO DRY THE CAR

EIGHTH STEP
QD MY WHEELS AND DRYED WITH MF

NINTH STEP
I QD THE ENTIRE CAR (DONT NEED TO BUT I WANTED TO) AND WIPED OFF WITH COBRA MF

TENTH STEP
USED INV. GLASS TO CLEAN THE WINDOWS

LAST STEP
APPLY YOUR FAVORITE TIRE SHINE

RESULTS

AND FOR THE BEGGINERS NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR DO THIS (NO WASH MIT WAS HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS HOW TO....IT WAS OLD AND DONT USE IT) TEHE

WHAT DO YOU THINK? SORRY IF IT WAS BORING AND LONG

just wondering if you used the car wash soap full strength in the fill tube..seems like you did and that is a waste of a lot of soap...my foam gun needs just 1/2 to 1 ounce of car soap and i fill the rest of the quart with water and it is enough to foam down the entire car and wash it using the rinse bucket and foam as you wipe method...

The only thing I would change is clean your windows then QD the car. Some of the window cleaner had to of gotten on the paint, especially since you're outside? Either way, nice car, looks a lot like mine.

Scott, glad to hear you made it through the nado. My folks were chilling under the steps with my 90 yr old grandpa. I can only imagine that seen. Anyways, nice looking work.

Man seeing the houses in the background makes me miss FM.

Awesome write up Scott, thanks for taking the time to snap a few pics and write it all up!

I use Megs Gold Class in my "Budget Foam Gun" and fill the reservoir up about half way and can do my entire truck with it. It seems like the "thicker" car shampoos work better. But then again, there are shampoos made for just the foam gun.

PS: that Mustang looks GOOD!!!

But if you clean the windows, then QD the car, then wouldn't there be QD on the windows?

I always clean windows last

Boring...nothing boring about the write up Scott. Looks good to me, I've never used a foam gun so to me it all looks good.

Those are some good pictures, who was taking them?

Thanks for taking the time to share.
